Fountain: The Hyaluronic Molecule

fountain the hyaluronic molecule blog review girl culture

Having been amazed by the results of Fountain's The Beauty Molecule (click here to read my review), I decided it was absolutely necessary for me to give this a whirl too. The Hyaluronic Molecule is being toted as the 'fountain' of youth, designed to keep skin plumped up and hydrated - Hyaluronic acid can hold up to 1000 times its own weight in water! One of the downsides of reaching your mid-20s (the upsides being everything else except council tax) is the fact that this naturally occurring substance starts decreasing in the body; causing fine lines, joint pain and thinner lips. If you're fighting the good fight against ageing, this wonder substance is a must-have in your skincare routine.

Fountain's bio-available beauty beverage has a texture I found somewhat unpleasant - akin to slurping a spoonful of gingery wallpaper glue - and I must admit it took some getting used to. After I started seeing results, any hard feelings were soon forgotten... I like to think of The Hyaluronic Molecule as a good-face-day in a bottle: that elusive morning when everything is right in the mirror and right with the world and skipping concealer seems like as easy as forgetting your underwear (just me?). It's made all my skin visibly firmer, far less dry and has even reduced redness. One of the first changes other people noticed, though, was my lips! A few different people commented that they looked a lot fuller and I can really see it now too. A far cheaper and safer alternative to plastic surgery for anyone considering it.

As if I wasn't impressed enough already, Fountain have just released SEVEN more molecules - each tailored to a specific health or beauty need! There's the Extra Strength Beauty Molecule, The Phyto-Collagen Molecule, The Super Green Molecule, The Hair Molecule, The Happy Molecule, The Energy Molecule, and The Geek Molecule. It was hard to stop hyperventilating enough to type this, but I managed, and am now concocting a plan to be able to somehow afford them all. Jesus? Santa? Call me.
