Spring Trend: Coral Lips

Bold lips are back once again and this spring calls for a fresh pop of orange! I've always been huge fan of corals so jumped at the chance to revive a few long lost lipsticks from the bottom my beauty bag, along with shopping for some new favourites of course (any excuse). Unlike the vivid fuchsia hues also lighting up the catwalks this year, warm coral tones really do suit every skin tone and are great for perking up pale complexions like mine without turning you into an extra from The Walking Dead.

For the wild at heart, Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in Audacious is a steal at under £8 and the perfect statement orange. I adore the consistency of these crayons, they glide on like a dream and last all day with barely any touch-ups needed! Orange Is the New Black may be onto something as this amped up citrus shade is surprisingly wearable - team with peachy cheeks and a soft smokey eye for a modern twist on classic glamour.

If your style's more au naturel than 'Audacious', Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Misia is a failsafe option - a gorgeous sheer, glistening heroine of a lipstick that leaves lips kissably soft and looking equally as inviting. This has 'first date' written all over - lips are given seductive volume thanks to its subtle sheen and the barely there apricot shade won't end up anywhere else, should the date end well that is...

What are your favourite coral shades?
