Benefit Posiebalm & Lollibalm Tinted Lip Balms Review Girl Culture Swatch

Released just in time for Summer, Benefit's collection of tinted lip balms are the little sisters of their best-selling cheek tints. These super hydrating balms come in the same four colours as their cheek-y counterparts - there's Posiebalm, Lollibalm (both pictured), Benebalm and Chachabalm. Glide them over bare lips or your favourite tint, especially useful if you find the tints on their lonesome slightly drying! Benefit's tinted lip balms are breezily light and give a sheer wash of pigment that's perfect for fresh-faced looks, but also easily buildable if you fancy more of a flirt with colour.

I got to test out their petal inspired hues - Lollibalm, a candy orchid shade, and Posiebalm, a pretty poppy pink. I've taken to wearing these most days, alternating between the two, as they really have a way of making minimal makeup look that touch more polished. These balms may seem small, but they pack a big punch in the moisturising department thanks to their lip-loving ingredients of mango butter and hyaluronic acid (which also leaves lips looking naturally fuller!) My lips felt soft and smooth all day but, best of all, they had all the sheen of a great lip gloss without any of the heavy, gloopy feeling. It's tinted love.

As always with Benefit, the packaging is kitsch, adorable and totally collectable. As much as there's only a hint of a tint difference between the two shades, they're definitely worth having and I've found myself feeling more and more tempted to nab the other two just so I can line them all up on my dressing table...
