Winterville at Victoria Park

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... I still can't believe there are only 8 sleeps to go! On Sunday a big group of us decided to head down to Victoria Park to check out Winterville - an 'alternative winter wonderland'. I'd highly recommend it if you're looking for a festive afternoon out in East London. We donned our best Christmas jumpers (thank you Primark) spent the day sipping mulled wine, braving the fairground rides and grabbing a slice of the best Pizza ever from the Voodoo Ray's pop-up stall.

The build up to Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year, all the parties and events really do make that winter weather more bearable. If you like the sound of Winterville and want to check out more festive pop-ups in London, have a look at my new piece for the Telegraph - Where to take a date in London this Christmas - some truly magical places on that list (you can thank me later).

Also, as you might also be able to tell, I've gone super blonde! I'm currently writing a piece about the transformation that I can't wait to share but in the meantime I can definitely say that I'm having more fun...
