Philip Kingsley Elasticizer: Geranium & Neroli

Recommended by seemingly everyone on the planet, from celebrities to magazine editors, Philip Kingsley's Elasticizer is beauty product that's earned its cult-like status. It was originally invented specifically for Audrey Hepburn (Phillip Kingsley was her personal hairdresser ya see), and if it's good enough for Audrey...

The world's first pre-shampoo conditioning treatment, Elasticizer is a saviour for dry and damaged hair. It works by delivering a rush of intense moisture to the cuticle - leaving your locks supple and bouncy, without weighing them down. Once a week, simply apply to wet hair, pop on the plastic shower cap included in the box and leave for a minimum of 20 minutes before following with your normal hair washing routine.

I've been using Elasticizer for around a year now, since first dying my hair blonde, and I can't believe what a difference it's made. Even after the first use, I was amazed. When I first went bleach blonde as a teenager, most of my long hair ended up splitting off, but this time I've managed to keep all my original pre-bleach length in great condition - and Elasticizer has played a big part in that. It's a product I've bought again and again, and will continue to as long as I value my locks.

The original Elasticizer is unscented, but Philip Kingsley recently released this Geranium & Neroli version. It's infused with natural neroli, geranium, lavender, rose and orange oils, so your hair can smell as good as it looks! And trust me, it does smell wonderful. I usually leave this baby on for a good few hours as the luxurious scent makes it feel like a treat, as well as a treatment. Plus, the new floral tub looks pretty damn cute in my bathroom.
