Winter Wonderland At Hyde Park

Can you believe there are only 11 sleeps left until Christmas? December has flown by and it's very nearly almost 2016! Scary. But, in my humble opinion, it really is the most wonderful time of the year. Fairy lights, mulled wine, festive cheer... those are the things that make the dark evenings enjoyable (read: kind of bearable).

Today I went to enjoy all of the above at Winter Wonderland in London's Hyde Park. It's been a couple of years since I've been there and I couldn't believe how huge it seems now! There's a seemingly endless array of fairground rides, Bavarian-themed bars, food stalls and Christmas market shops. I can imagine it's pretty easy to get lost there when you're a few beer steins deep...

Apologies for the brief post, but I'm off now to finish wrapping all my presents and prepping for the work week ahead. I'm only in the office for five more days before the big C-day and I can't wait to leave the city for a bit to go chill at home with my cat and a big open fire. If you're looking for pre-Christmas plans, I'd definitely recommend paying Winter Wonderland a visit. Pro tip: head there on a weekday, like we did, to avoid the inevitable central London crowds.
