Little Black (Primark) Dress

Today finally, finally, finally feels like spring! 24 degrees, in early May! It must be a miracle. But does anyone else have the problem of what to wear when the weather very suddenly warms up? It's not yet high-summer and time for all those floaty dresses, and I still feel tentative unveiling my legs from their black tight cocoons. Plus, the temperature always drops around late afternoon and optimistic mid-season dressers are left sans-jacket and shivering in their chiffon.

That's where this LBD from Primark comes in. A super cheap buy (£13 to be exact) to see you through the confusing transition. The soft, stretchy polyester/elastane blend actually falls really flatteringly and is thick enough to shield you from inevitable breezes. Primark have also nailed the Bardot ruffle neckline trend - a look we'll all probably be sick of by the time summer ends, but it's just so Dolce Vita.

To stick with the theme (monochrome everything), I've teamed with a 90s-esque velvet choker, velvet cut-out heels and thick cat-eye shades - goth does spring dressing, I guess.
